Meet Maris

Maris Hanson is a licensed attorney practicing in Northern Alabama, serving clients in Madison and Limestone counties. She is licensed to practice law in both Alabama and Washington State and is admitted to the federal bar in the Northern District of Alabama. Her practice focuses on criminal defense, administrative law, and business law.

Maris earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law, where she graduated first in her class. She has a strong background in the nuclear energy sector, having previously served as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at an advanced nuclear reactor development company. Her academic work includes a publication on uranium-233 and its potential in nuclear energy.

Maris owns Hanson Law and Legal Services LLC, where she provides legal services tailored to the needs of individuals and businesses in her community.
